Russell Scanlan Management Buy Out

We are pleased to announce the completion of a management buy out which secures the long term independent future of Russell Scanlan Limited.

As one of the UK’s longest established independent insurance brokers we are delighted to have concluded this deal which we firmly believe represents a fantastic opportunity to continue providing our clients with the highest levels of service as well as expanding the business through the acquisition of new clients and business partners.

The new management team will be led by Bryan Banbury in the role of Managing Director alongside Mike Dickinson, Andy Jenkins and Alastair Bowie who will have responsibility for various business development and operational matters respectively whilst Bill Russell will continue in his current role as Chairman.

The deal has seen existing Managing Director Ian Chaplin and fellow Director Eric Screaton relinquish their shareholdings whilst retaining important roles enabling the firm to benefit from their expertise and experience built up from over 50 years of combined service with Russell Scanlan.

These are obviously exciting times for everyone at Russell Scanlan. We will continue to develop what is already one of the UK’s most respected insurance broking firms. We have a dynamic and robust business plan which we are certain will enable the business to expand through both traditional insurance broking and additional client services.
