Jeweller's block policy

An all risks policy, written as part of a scheme arrangement, covering stock and goods held in trust or on commission. The policy has a number of specific exclusions.

Joint Contracts Tribunal (JCT) wordings

Standard forms of building contract wording that specify the liabilities and insuring responsibilities of the parties to a construction or erection contract.

Joint insured clause

A provision in a liability policy, where there is more than one insured interest, that protects the individual position of each named insured by granting cover in circumstances where one insured has a liability claim against another. See Cross liabilities clause.

Jurisdiction clause

A clause in a liability or marine policy stating that indemnity will be granted only when the claim is brought against the insured in a specified country or countries.
